水源热泵的主要工作原理是借助热泵以水体为媒介进行能源转换。夏季高温，将建筑物中的热量转移到水源中，达到制冷的效果。冬季就从相对稳定、温暖的水源中提取能量，提升温度后送到建筑物中，以达到制暖的效果。
